All India Institute of Medical Science: All 19 new AIIMS in the country are facing acute shortage of doctors and staff these days. Despite the efforts of the government, these vacant posts have not been filled so far. Alam is that more than half the posts are lying vacant here. In which various posts of employees including SR (Senior Resident) and JR (Junior Resident) are included. Which remain vacant at 50.7 percent per year. This information was given by the Union Minister of State for Health Dr. Bharti Pravin Pawar while replying to the question of TMC MP Nusrat Jahan Ruhi in Lok Sabha.

Maintaining high standards have not filled the posts – Union Minister of State for Health

AIIMS Delhi has 2,547 vacancies out of 5,340. 411 faculty posts are also lying vacant in various departments. There is also a shortage of 17 percent employees. who are kept for the care of patients.
