59 crores will be spent on security at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth-II Funeral: Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II will be cremated on 19 September. Many leaders from all over the world will attend the funeral of the Queen. During this, an amount of more than 7 million US dollars (about Rs 59 crore) will be spent on security. Queen Elizabeth died on 8 September at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

Millions expected to come

About 750,000 people are expected to attend the funeral, which is much higher than Will and Kate’s wedding. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also been granted royal protection during the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, who lost their right to taxpayer-funded security when they left their royal duties. Most of the dignitaries will take shared buses for the funeral. However, some leaders such as US President Joe Biden will make their own arrangements.
