An official said that ‘Ni-Kshya Mitra’ is available on Nikshay Portal 2.0. 15,415 registrations have been done under (TB Patient Care) which includes individuals, organizations, industries and elected representatives. According to government data, 9.57 lakh patients out of total 13,53,443 TB patients, including multi-drug resistant, currently in the country have given their consent to be adopted for care and almost all of them (9,56,352) Has been adopted for care till Saturday.

Under the programme, a monthly meal consisting of three kilograms of rice, 1.5 kilograms of pulses, 250 grams of vegetable oil and one kilogram of milk powder or six liters of milk or one kilogram of groundnut has been recommended for each tuberculosis patient. According to an official source, up to thirty eggs can also be added to it.
