Aftab used Shraddha to buy fridge, it was revealed

Shraddha Murder Case Probe: The police probing the Shraddha Walkar murder case have got hold of the purchase bills made by the accused Aftab Amin Poonawala. On the basis of which it is being said that the accused had used Shraddha’s mobile number only to buy the fridge. Whereas, the Packers and Movers Company was given a separate mobile number. 

On Monday (November 21), it was revealed in the case that the accused had shifted his belongings from Mumbai to Delhi after the alleged murder of Shraddha. The service of Goodluck Packers and Movers Company was taken to send 37 boxes of goods to Delhi. Whereas, the fridge was bought from an electronics shop in Chhatarpur. It is alleged that Aftab had bought a fridge to keep the pieces of Shraddha’s dead body. After getting different contact details in the investigation, the police is now trying to find out how many mobile numbers the accused was using.

Police searching for evidence in the case has come to know about getting a part of a jaw from Mehrauli forest on Monday. Even before this, many bones have been recovered from the forest. All the parts have been sent for forensic examination. 

Police is investigating in four states- Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh to solve the mystery of this brutal murder. Police have recorded the statements of 11 people who came in contact with Shraddha-Aftab in one way or the other in Maharashtra. These include the statements of Shraddha’s father Vikas Walker. Apart from this, statements of Shraddha-Aftab’s friends, society members, manager of a call centre, owner of a packers and movers company and a social worker have been recorded.

Polygraphy test allowed

On Monday, the Delhi Police got approval from the Saket court to conduct polygraphy test of Aftab. Earlier permission for narco test was taken. However, the narco test of the accused has not been done yet. The police remand of the accused is ending on Tuesday (22 November). If experts are to be believed, it takes at least 10 days for the narco or polygraphy test. When the police will present the accused in the court on Tuesday, they will try to get his remand for the third time.

Why did the accused cut the dead body into 35 pieces?

On Monday, police sources shared information related to the interrogation of the accused, according to which, Shraddha was not murdered in a planned manner but a plan was made by the accused to hide her body parts. According to sources, the accused told that he had strangled Shraddha in a fit of anger. It would have been risky to take his dead body somewhere from the first floor, so a plan was made to dismember the dead body and dispose of it.
