In such a situation, for the next two months, 50-50 percent of the faculty level doctors will be on leave of one month each. During this, only 50 percent of the doctors will be present on duty. Significantly, there is already a shortage of faculty level doctors in AIIMS.

A senior doctor of AIIMS said that the patients need not worry much, as the AIIMS administration has directed all the departments that not more than 50 percent of the doctors should be on leave at a time. should meet. 50 percent doctors should be present at all times. Every year in summer, all the faculty level doctors in AIIMS get one month off.

AIIMS has total 1131 posts of faculty level

Earlier in the year 2020 Corona Pandemic the doctors’ leave was canceled. This time the cases of corona are not special, in view of which the AIIMS administration has decided to discharge the doctors in two phases this time. In the first phase, from May 16 to June 15, 50 percent of the faculty will be given leave. On their return, the remaining doctors will get leave in the second phase from June 16 to July 15. Patients may have to face trouble during the holiday. There are total 1131 faculty level posts in AIIMS, out of which 404 posts are vacant.
