Ajmer Discom recovered 13 crores from 11 districts in 3 days, disconnected connections of 3868 consumers

Ajmer Discom News: In the first month of the year 2023 Ajmer Discom set a record. Ajmer Bijli Vitran Nigam made a great achievement in revenue collection in the month of January. Discom recovered Rs 13 crore in just 3 days under the revenue recovery campaign. This amount has been recovered from 11 districts of the state. With this achievement, for the first time the corporation came close to 100 percent revenue collection in the month of January itself. Discom has set a target of 102 percent revenue collection in this financial year.

3868 subscribers disconnected

Revenue recovery campaign of Ajmer Discom is going on between January 20 and January 31 under the leadership of Managing Director NS Nirvana. Under the campaign, the corporation’s team has collected revenue of more than Rs 12.96 crore from 9907 consumers. Connections of 3868 consumers have been disconnected for non-payment. The MD said that the discoms had fixed targets for the officers and employees for recovery of arrears of revenue from the high arrears consumers. The officers and employees of the discom have worked hard and collected a revenue of about 13 crores in just three days.

Target 102 percent in this financial year

MD of Ajmer Discom said that in the current financial year till December, 99.34 percent record revenue has been recovered. The corporation has a target of 102 percent revenue recovery this financial year. He expressed confidence that the officers and employees of DISCOMs will continue to work hard and achieve this target easily. He said that Ajmer Discom is committed to uninterrupted power supply to all consumers. It is the responsibility of all consumers to deposit electricity bills on time, so that the financial condition of the discoms can improve further.
