Army jawan pushed by TTE from moving train, right leg amputated after coming under train

Bareli Railway Station: The 20503 Rajdhani Express train going from Dibrugarh to New Delhi has arrived at platform number 2 of Bareilly Junction. Where TTE pushed a soldier. After the incident, the TTE posted in the train absconded after switching off the mobile. On the other hand, the soldiers of the army stopped the train by creating a ruckus. The jawan injured in the incident has been admitted to the Army Hospital by his comrades.

Officials said, a ticket checker (TTE) lost his leg after an argument with an army jawan on Thursday. His condition is serious. The name of the victim is being told as Sonu. The victim, Sonu, was allegedly pushed from Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express on platform number 2 of Bareilly Junction railway station in the morning. Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE) Supan Bor has been charged with attempt to murder. The TTE is absconding since the incident.

Case 307 filed against TTE

Station House Officer Ajit Pratap Singh said, "A case has been registered against the TTE under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). He is absconding and efforts are on to arrest him." Reportedly, some co-travellers thrashed the TTE after the incident.
