Uttarakhand Atariya Mela: The Atariya Mela, which holds an important place in the fairs of Uttarakhand (Uttarakhand), has started with worship and havan at Ataria temple Jagatpura. Mother’s dole was welcomed by showering flowers at various places. During the procession of the Dole of the fair, mainly the tableau of Radha-Krishna and the dance of Shankar-Parvati were the center of attraction. During this, the security system was also tight.

An example of Quami Unity was also seen in the fair. Javed Akhtar, associated with the Muslim society, was also seen serving while carrying the mother’s doli. Javed said that only politics is done in the name of religion. People are divided in the name of religion by politicians. He said that he comes to the Ataria fair for the past several years and also participates in the procession carrying the mother’s dole. He appealed to all to maintain brotherhood.
Effective security arrangements
Swings, various stalls and shops have been decorated for the Atria fair. Atria fair has duly started from the day of Durga Ashtami. In this fair, apart from many districts of Uttarakhand, people from many places including Rampur, Moradabad, Pilibhit, Bareilly of Uttar Pradesh come to visit the mother. Mayor Rampal, MLA Shiv Arora were also present while bringing the mother’s doll. SSP Manjunath TC said that from the point of view of security in the fair, women and men have been deployed in sufficient quantity, who will be deployed in their duty. A temporary police post has also been set up in the fair.
