A case of barricade falling on a car passing near the metro construction site in Bengaluru has come to light. The incident is being told of last Saturday. However, there is no information about injury to any person in the car in this incident. According to the information being received, the incident took place near Mahadevpur. The car on which the barricade of the metro construction site fell, along with the driver Santosh, another person was aboard. According to the police, there was no injury to any person in the car in this incident.
According to sources, the barricade used to block the road fell on the car. The car was going from Karthik Nagar towards KR Puram when the incident took place. However, regarding this incident, Metro said in a statement that the car itself had hit the barricade.
Let us tell you that a few days ago a major accident took place at the Metro construction site in Bengaluru. During that time the Karnataka High Court had taken cognizance of the Bangalore Metro accident. A woman and her two-year-old son were killed in that accident. In fact, a pillar of the metro under construction had fallen in Bengaluru. A woman and a child were killed in this incident. While the husband of the deceased woman and another child were injured in the incident.
The incident took place at around 10.30 am on the Outer Ring Road near HBR Layout in Bengaluru. The steel rod centering for erecting the concrete pillars for the “Namma Metro” (Bengaluru Metro) fell on his scooter. The height of the pillar was more than 40 feet and the weight was several tons.
In this case, a case was registered against Nagarjuna Manufacturing Company (NCC), five of its officials and two officials of Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). NCC was named as the first accused (A1), and then its officials were also named as accused. The contract for this construction work of Metro is with NCC.
