Chhattisgarh Politics: Thursday, November 17, is the last day for filing nominations for the Bhanupratappur assembly by-election in Chhattisgarh. In such a situation, after the candidates of both BJP and Congress were decided, they took their nomination forms. Chhattisgarh Janata Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have decided not to field their candidates in this by-election. Janata Congress Party chief Amit Jogi openly declared his support to Congress candidate Savitri Mandavi. He said that the Jogi family has a family relation with the late Manoj Mandavi and his family. In such a situation, he will not field his candidate in this by-election and will support Savitri Mandavi.
Chhattisgarh Aam Aadmi Party has also decided not to field its candidates in the by-elections. AAP’s Chhattisgarh chief Sanjeev Jha says that this election is only a matter of one year and for such a short period the presence of only one MLA will be almost negligible. Therefore, it has been decided that the AAP will participate with all its might in the assembly elections to be held in 2023.

At the same time, big leaders of BJP of Bastar and Raipur will be present during the nomination filing of BJP candidate Brahmanand Netam.
