Big record of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan broken, Jagdishan created history

N Jagdeesan World Record Innings: Tamil Nadu star batsman N Jagadeesan blasted his bat to score a double century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Monday. He scored 277 runs in 114 balls in this match. In his huge innings, he hit 25 fours and 15 sixes. With this inning, Jagadishan has created a new history in world cricket by breaking the records of many veterans including Team India captain Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.

Jagdishan broke many world records

Narayan Jagdishan smashed many world records by playing a blistering inning of 277 runs in this match. He broke Indian captain Rohit Sharma’s record of 264 runs, the biggest innings played in ODIs. Although he has broken this record while playing in List A.

The innings of 277 runs is the biggest innings in the history of List A of World Cricket. Before him this record was in the name of Eddie Brown (268).

Jagadishan has become joint first with Australian cricketer Travis Head in the fastest double century (114 balls) in List A history of world cricket.

Narayan Jagadishan has become the first batsman in the world to score five consecutive centuries in List A cricket. He has defeated veteran players like Kumar Sangakkara (4).  

Narayan Jagadishan has become the first cricketer from India to score five centuries in a single season of List A. He has achieved this feat leaving behind players like Virat Kohli, Prithvi Shaw.

Narayan Jagdishan played a partnership of 416 runs with his opening partner Sai Sudarshan. This is the highest opening partnership in the history of List A games.

Jagdishan has joined the list of veterans like Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virender Sehwag at number 10. Who has scored a double century in List A history.
