Bundi: Historical decision of POCSO court in murder case after innocent gang rape, two sentenced to death

Bundi News: In Bundi’s 15-year-old tribal girl’s gangrape and murder case, the POCSO Court has given death penalty to two people. On Friday, the 126th day of the crime, the Pocso Court delivered a historic verdict. Judge Balkrishna Mishra sentenced the two convicts, 27-year-old Sultan Bhil and 62-year-old Chhotulal, to death penalty of Rs 1.20 lakh.

It was found that the first sultan committed cruelty. After this the minor and finally the elderly Chhotulal made the innocent victim. As soon as the sentence was announced, the girl’s mother, who was present in the court, bowed down and expressed satisfaction at getting justice. After the verdict, CM Ashok Gehlot said, "Such news keeps coming from every state. In view of this, the government has made many innovations in the state." He told that the police had presented the challan in 3 working days and this is the first case of POCSO Act in the state when two convicts were sentenced to death together. After coming to our government, in the cases of POCSO Act, 8 convicts were hanged, more than 137 were sentenced to life imprisonment and more than 620 convicts have been sentenced.
