Case filed against BJP councilor for murder of Congress leader’s wife, during treatment after assault

Khandwa: Here, a Bharatiya Janata Party councilor has been accused of murder. Police has registered a murder case and started searching for the accused. The BJP councilor is accused of being involved in a dispute on January 3. The former Congress leader’s wife was assaulted. In this she was seriously injured. He was admitted to Indore for treatment. He died during treatment there. Angry people kept the dead body in front of the police station and demanded registration of a murder case against the accused. After the postmortem report, the police has now registered a case of murder against Pawan Goswami. The accused Pawan is currently absconding.

This is the whole matter
The complainant Jai Goswami’s father Prakash Goswami (35) resident of Gali 3 Sindhi Colony Khandwa lodged a report in Moghat police station. He had told in his complaint that on January 3 Ward 37 councilor Pawan’s father Purushottam Goswami resident Sindhi Colony Khandwa beat him up and threatened to kill him. During this, Jai’s mother Poonam was also assaulted. She was admitted to the hospital. After this incident The councilor had also filed a report after being beaten up.

The accused is a neighbor of the victim

Let us tell you that on the night of January 3, BJP leader and councilor of ward number 37 Pawan Goswami assaulted 63-year-old Prakash Goswami and his 57-year-old wife Poonam. Poonam’s bones were broken due to the fight. After which he was admitted to a private hospital for treatment where he died.  The police was waiting for the post-mortem report to come, after the report came, the police has now imposed Section 302 of murder against BJP councilor Pawan Goswami, at present Pawan is absconding whom the police is looking for.
