China imposes hurdle on declaring Lashkar terrorist a ‘global terrorist’ in the United Nations

Global Terrorist: China on Friday once again stopped the proposal brought by the US and India in the United Nations, in which Sajid of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Mir was to be declared a ‘global terrorist’. Sajid Mir is India’s most wanted terrorist and was involved in the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Sajid Mir is the mastermind of Mumbai Terror Attack

Sajid Mir is one of the masterminds of Mumbai Terror Attack (November 26, 2008). He was responsible for the largest ever foreign Lashkar-e-Taiba terror attack, which resulted in the death of civilians from several countries, including India and Western countries.

175 people were killed (18 police personnel, 122 people, 26 foreigners and 9 terrorists) and 291 injured (25 police personnel, 243 people, 22 foreigners and one terrorist Ajmal Kasab) during the attack. Mir was the project manager of Lashkar-e-Taiba for the November 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. He had instructed the terrorists involved in the attack through satellite phones to execute the hostages during the operation. He is also actively involved in launching Lashkar operatives in India.

China keeps putting obstacles again and again!

China, which is the best friend of Pakistan‍Tan, has been continuously obstructing the path of Pak terrorists to become blacklisted. In June, China had also obstructed the proposal to declare another Pakistani terrorist Abdul Rehman Makk as a terrorist at the last opportunity. China had also hindered Masood Azhar’s proposal for a global terrorist. Attempts were made to designate Masood as a global terrorist after the 2016 Pathankot terror attack, but he was declared a global terrorist after the 2019 Pulwama terror attack.
