Chris Gayle storm in Barkatullah Stadium, Pathan Brothers storm gave victory to Bhilwara

Jodhpur News:  After 20 years, once again a crowd of cricket lovers was seen in Jodhpur’s Barkatullah Khan Stadium. Bhilwara Kings beat Gujarat Joints by 5 wickets. During the match, the audience got to see the explosive innings of West Indies batsman Chris Gayle. Playing a stormy innings, Chris Gayle completed his half-century in just 23 balls. Gayle played 40 balls in which he scored 68 runs with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes. The team of Gujarat Joints scored 186 runs for the loss of 7 wickets and set a total target of 187 runs to win in front of Bhilwara Kings.

 Bhilwara Kings won the toss and called Gujarat Joint to bat first. Chris Gayle and Lendl Simmons, who came out to open for Gujarat Joint, made a slow start. However, shortly after, Simmons went on to make 22 runs in 18 balls.  After this Parthiv Patel got out after scoring just 1 run off 2 balls. Kevin O’Brien also returned to the pavilion after scoring 4 off 2 balls.  After this, all the responsibility of Gujarat Joint’s faltering innings fell on the shoulders of Chris Gayle.

Chris Gayle showed his fierce form and played a stormy innings and scored 68 runs in 40 balls with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes and returned to the pavilion leaving the team in a strong position. After this, among the remaining players, Thisara Perera scored 19 runs off 11 balls, Graeme Swann scored 4 runs off 2 balls, while Yashpal Singh scored 58 runs in 37 balls and Jogender Sharma remained unbeaten on 7 runs in 6 balls. In 20 overs, Gujarat scored a total of 186 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Yusuf- Isfan leads Bhilwara Kings to victory

William Porterfield (40) and Morne Van Wyk (26) gave a great start to Bhilwara Kings chasing the target. For the first wicket, there was a partnership of 57 runs between the two. After this, Yusuf Pathan, who came out to bat, scored 39 runs in 18 balls with the help of four sixes and one four. In the end, Irfan Pathan, playing with Jessal, scored an unbeaten 24 runs in 14 balls with the help of 1 six and 2 fours and gave victory to his team.
