CNG price skyrocketing in Pakistan, so much more expensive than Delhi-NCR

Price of CNG in Pakistan: The price of CNG in Pakistan is skyrocketing. Here the rate of one kg of CNG is Rs 300. After the CNG price reached the highest level, the Dealers Association has targeted the government. The association alleges that the government wants to end this sector and has increased the prices without advice.

According to Saturday’s report of ARY News, the price of CNG in Pakistan has increased by Rs.70. CNG Dealers Association President Abdul Sami Khan said in a statement that the price of Re-Gasified Liquid Natural Gas (RLNG) has also been increased. Expressing anger over the hike in prices, the chairman said that billions of dollars of investment in the CNG sector are being wasted.

As Pakistan’s economy is in recession, talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from May 18 are crucial. Finance Minister Miftah Ismail had said that every month the exchequer is losing Rs 102 billion due to petroleum products. He said that the government is incurring a loss of Rs 30 per liter on petroleum. The pace of growth in Pakistan is not expected to pick up in the near future, as a sharp jump in the import bill will adversely affect the Pakistani rupee.

CNG prices increased in Delhi-NCR too
