Commonwealth Games 2022: Saurav Ghoshal wins bronze medal in squash, defeats England player

Saurav Ghosal: Indian squash player Saurav Ghosal has won the bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022. Actually, India’s Saurav Ghosal won the bronze medal in men’s singles squash by defeating James Willstrop of England. Whereas, Commonwealth Games This is India’s first medal in singles matches of 2022.

Ghoshal’s easy victory over the host player

This is India’s first medal in the squash singles event at the Commonwealth Games. This is Ghosal’s second medal at the Commonwealth Games. He won the mixed doubles silver medal in 2018 along with Dipika Pallikal at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Ghoshal’s dominance from the beginning

Ghosal dominated from the start against Willstrop and the England player had no answer for his game. Actually, Wilstrop tried to compete with Ghoshal in the first game but the Indian player did not give him many chances to score points. In the second game, Wilstrop’s role was only a spectator and the host country’s player could score only one point in the entire game. There was not much change in the situation in the third game as well and Ghosal continued to dominate and won the bronze medal.
