CWG 2022 Men’s Long Jump: Sreeshankar and Anees made a long jump, both the Indians reached the final

Murali Sreeshankar and Muhammed Anees: running in Birmingham Commonweath Games (Commonweath Games 2022). Indians showing their strength in different sports events have also done wonders in athletics today. Here two Indian athletes have managed to reach the final of the long jump. Murali Sreeshankar and Mohammad Anees Yahiya made it to the last-12 with a stellar performance in the qualification round.

Murali Sreeshankar had secured the final ticket by jumping 8.05m in his first attempt itself. This is because the 8 meter mark was fixed for automatic qualification. Murali was the only athlete who jumped more than 8 meters in the qualification round. With this performance, Sreeshankar has increased the hopes of a medal in the long jump.
