CWG 2022: Second gold lifts India to sixth place in weightlifting, Australia is on top

Commonwealth Games 2022 Medal Tally: running in Birmingham Commonwealth Games (Commonwealth Games). So far 42 gold medals have been decided. Australia is currently leading the medal table with 13 gold. He won 16 medals including 8 gold on the first day, on the second day also the Australian team won 16 medals including 5 gold. However, on the third day so far, one silver and one bronze have come in his share. The good thing for India is that the second gold medal in weightlifting has moved India from 9th to 6th position.

On the third day, weightlifter Jeremy Lalrinnunga won gold in the 67 kg weight category for India. With this gold, India’s total number of medals has gone up to 5. These five medals have come in weightlifting only. These include two gold, two silver and one bronze.
