CWG 2022: So far 20 medals have come to India, here is the complete list of Indian medal winners

India at CWG 2022: Indian athletes have won 20 medals in the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham. Out of these 20 medals, there are 6 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze medals. So far, India has got the maximum 10 medals from weightlifting and 3 medals from judo. At present, India is at the seventh position in the medal tally of the Commonwealth Games 2022. CWG 2022: 7th Day

20th medal: Sudhir (Gold)
Sudhir won gold in the men’s heavyweight category of Para Powerlifting event. He is the first Indian player to win gold in this event at the Commonwealth Games. Sudhir lifted the weight of 212 kg and won the gold with a record 134.5 points.

19th medal: Murali Sreeshankar (Silver) 
India’s long jumper Murali Sreeshankar won India silver. He won the silver medal in the men’s long jump final with a best jump of 8.08 metres. With this medal, Sreeshankar has also become the first male athlete from India to win a silver medal for India in the long jump event in the history of the Commonwealth Games.
 
CWG 2022: 6th Day

18th medal: Tejaswin Shankar (Bronze)
Tejaswin Shankar won bronze in high jump by jumping 2.22 meters. This is India’s first medal in athletics in this Commonwealth Games. India’s first medal in high jump in Commonwealth history.

17th medal: Gurdeep Singh (Bronze)
Gurdeep Singh won the bronze medal in the weightlifting 109kg+ weight category by lifting 390kg. This is India’s 10th medal in weightlifting in this Commonwealth Games.

16th medal: Tulika Mann (Silver)
Indian female judo player Tulika Mann won silver for India in +78kg weight category. She was a contender for gold but lost in the final.

15th medal: Saurav Ghoshal (Bronze)
Saurav Ghosal won the bronze in the men’s singles of squash. He became the first player in the history of Commonwealth Games to win India a medal in squash. He defeated James Willstrop of England 11-6, 11-1, 11-4 in the bronze medal match.

14th medal: Lovepreet Singh (Bronze)
Lovepreet Singh won bronze medal in men’s 109kg category in weightlifting. He won this medal by lifting a total weight of 355kg.

CWG 5th Day: 

13th Medal: Mixed Badminton Team (Silver)
India lost 1-3 to Malaysia in the final of the Mixed Badminton team event and had to settle for silver. Here the pair of Satwik Sairaj Ranki Reddy and Chirag Shet‌T got defeated. After this, the women’s pair of Treeja Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand also lost. Kidambi Srikanth also had to face defeat. The lone PV Sindhu won her match. 

12th medal: Vikas Thakur (Silver)
Weightlifter Vikas Thakur won silver in men’s 96 kg weight category. Vikas lifted 155 kg in snatch and 191 kg in clean and jerk. He finished second with a total weight of 346 kg.

11th Medal: Men’s Table Tennis Team (Gold)
India defeated Singapore 3-1 to win gold in the men’s table tennis team final. The trio of Sharad Kamal, G Sathiyan and Harmeet Desai gave India this gold. Here Sharad Kamal lost his singles match but Sathiyan and Harmeet won their respective singles match and a doubles match to give India a gold medal.

10th Medal: Women’s Lawn Balls Team (Gold)
Indian team won Gold for the first time in the Women’s Four event of Lawn Balls. Lovely Choubey, Pinky, Nayanmoni Saikia, Roopa Rani gave India this medal. In the final, India defeated South Africa 17-10 to win the gold.

CWG 4th Day:

9th medal: Harjinder Kaur (Bronze medal)
Weightlifter Harjinder Kaur won the bronze medal in the women’s 71kg category by lifting a total of 212 kg. Harjinder lifted 93 kg in snatch and 119 kg in clean and jerk.

8th medal: Vijay Kumar Yadav (Bronze medal)
Vijay Kumar Yadav won the bronze medal for India in Judo. He lost to Australia’s Joshua in the quarter-finals in the men’s 60kg category. After this, he got a chance in the repechage matches and here he won the bronze medal. Vijay defeated Prato of Cyprus 10-0 in the bronze medal match.

7th Medal: Sushila Devi (Silver Medal)
Sushila Devi Likmabam won Silver Medal in Judo’s 48 kg Weight Category. In the final, Sushila faced Michaela Whiteboi of South Africa, where she lost in extra time. 
 
CWG 3rd Day:

6th Medal: Achinta Shiuli (Gold Medal)
Achinta Shiuli lifted 143 kg in the snatch round and 170 kg in the clean and jerk round in the men’s 73 kg weight category. In this way, he put a third gold in India’s bag by lifting a total of 313 kg.

5th medal: Jeremy Lalrinnunga (Gold medal)
Jeremy Lalrinnunga has given India the second gold medal in the Commonwealth Games. He won the gold in the 67 kg category by lifting 300 kg. He became champion by lifting 7kg more than silver medalist Waipawa Loane (293kg).

CWG 2022: 2nd Day

Fourth Medal: Bindiyarani Devi (Silver Medal)
Weightlifter Bindiyarani Devi won silver for India in the women’s 55 kg weight category. He won silver by lifting 86kg in snatch and 116kg in clean and jerk i.e. a total of 202kg. She missed gold by just 1kg.

Third Medal: Mirabai Chanu (Gold Medal)
Olympic medalist Mirabai Chanu won India’s first gold in Commonwealth Games. He won the gold medal in the 49kg category by lifting a total of 201kg. Mirabai lifted 88kg in snatch and 113kg in clean and jerk.

Second Medal: Gururaj Pujari (Bronze Medal)
India’s second medal in Commonwealth Games was given by weightlifter Gururaja Pujari. He won the bronze medal in the men’s 61kg weight category by lifting 269kg.

First Medal: Sanket Mahadev Sagar (Silver Medal)
India got its first medal in Commonwealth Games 2022 by weightlifter Sanket Mahadev Sargar.
