UPI has made life easier for most of us. Payment mode is easily one of the most used digital modes. Ease of payment can sometimes reach your daily limit. Yes, there can be a daily limit for transactions on UPI.
When you pay on UPI, there are many apps, banks and different things involved. Non-banking apps like PhonePe and GPay still account for a large share of transactions. You can often encounter a failed transaction and one reason for this could be the daily limit.
There are daily and monthly limits on how much money you can send or receive. The limit may vary for the app you are using, UPI or your bank.
You try to send more than Rs 1,00,000 in a day on all UPI apps.

You can request a less money transfer.
If your daily transactions UPI is below the limit and you are still having problems, then try another bank account. Your bank may have its own limits on how much you can send or receive. You can also directly contact your bank for more details and clarity regarding transaction failure.
Some transactions may be flagged for further review to avoid fraud. If you’re having trouble making a transaction and don’t think you’ve reached a limit, contact the help team of the UPI app you’re using.
