Let us tell you that earlier the Ministry of Defense had given a concession of two years in the examination for the posts of Agniveers for this year. Although, the maximum age to become Agniveer is 21 years, but because the army recruitment was stalled for the last two years, due to this the maximum age in the recruitments to be held this year i.e. 2022 has been increased to 23 years. Apart from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Home Affairs has also announced 10-10 percent reservation for Agniveers in Central Armed Police Force and Para-Military Force, Assam Rifles. This was announced by Home Minister Amit Shah himself. Central Police Force consists of security forces like CRPF, ITBP, BSF, CISF and SSB.
CAPF will also get a concession of 5 years
The Ministry of Home Affairs has also announced that for the first time during the application in Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) Agniveers ( Agnivers) will be given age relaxation of 5 years. Even after that, they will be given an age relaxation of three years. These announcements made by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Home Affairs have been made because the youth of the country is worried about his future after serving four years as Agniveer in the army. Both the Army and the Government believe that after serving for four years in the Army, Agniveers will have a sense of discipline and dedication which will be of great help to the Central Paramilitary Forces and Civil-Jobs.
