Delhi Corona Updates: In the national capital, Delhi saw an increase in new cases of corona today as compared to Wednesday. According to the Delhi Health Department, 1032 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the last 24 hours and the infection rate was 3.64 percent. No patient has died. In the same time, 1306 people have recovered from the infection. At present 4928 patients are being treated in the city. In the last 24 hours, 28386 tests have been done in Delhi.

 On Monday, 799 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported and three deaths were recorded, which was the highest number of deaths in a single day in the last two months. The infection rate was recorded at 4.94 on Monday.

Epidemiologist Dr. Chandrakant Laharia said, ‘‘ Last month, being the festive season, we saw an increase in cases as people volunteered to get tested as they had to travel. My view is that people were not getting the investigation done earlier, but now after the news of increase in the cases in the media, they have started getting the investigation done. This change will go on for a long time and it depends on the behavior of the people.’’
