Delhi’s air has improved but the situation is still bad, AQI recorded at 249

Delhi AQI: There is improvement in the air in the capital Delhi but the situation remains bad. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the AQI in Delhi was recorded at 249 (poor) category.  Due to poor air quality in the capital, fog was seen on the duty road. Delhi was witnessing a significant improvement in the AQI over the last few days though it again slipped into the poor category. 

Delhi’s air quality improved to ‘moderate’ category on Wednesday. Today on Thursday morning there was fog in many areas of the capital. Apart from this, the AQI was 235 in Gurugram, 300 in Noida and 266 in IIT Delhi, all of which were recorded in poor category.
