Demand for arrest of former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa intensifies, lawyer filed petition in court

Sri Lanka: The matter of violence that erupted during the demonstration in Sri Lanka has now reached the court. A lawyer has filed a petition in Colombo Court demanding the arrest of 7 people including the former Prime Minister. The lawyer has said in the petition that the CID should immediately order the arrest of 7 people, including former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
