The process of festivals has started. In the coming days, a meeting of the peace committee was organized in the control room of the Superintendent of Police’s office under the chairmanship of Sehore Collector Chandra Mohan Thakur to celebrate the festivals with gaiety and peaceful manner. In the meeting, all the upcoming festivals were discussed in detail regarding the arrangements during various religious functions to be held in Sehore city and district. Municipality President Prince Rathore told all the members that all necessary arrangements would be made by the municipality during the festivals.
It is worth noting that Bhootri Amavasya on 25 September, Navratri on 26 September, Vijay Dashami on 5 October, Milad-un-Nabi on 8 October, Valmiki Jayanti on 9 October, Birth anniversary of Acharya Vidyasagar, Diwali on 24 October, 25 Bhagwan Mahavir Nirvana Mahotsav will be celebrated on October 8, Guru Nanak Jayanti on November 8 and Christmas Day on December 25.
