‘Egypt and India will fight together against terrorism’, said PM after meeting with Abdel Fateh al-Sisi

More than four thousand years ago, trade with Egypt used to take place through Lothal Port in Gujarat." They said, "Our relations with Egypt have remained intact in spite of many challenges in the world situation. The foundation of our relationship has remained stable and support has grown stronger."

PM further said, "This year India has invited Egypt as the guest country during its G-20 presidency which shows our special friendship. Today, we have also decided to further strengthen cooperation between our defense industries, increase exchange of information and intelligence related to counter-terrorism."
