Maharashtra: Senior social activist Anna Hazare has warned of agitation over the Lokayukta Act. Anna Hazare said that when Devendra Fadnavis’s government was there, he had promised to make a law. However, after the departure of the Fadnavis government, the Thackeray government had also promised to enact a Lokayukta law.
Anna Hazare said- need for mass movement in the state
While talking to the media in Ahmednagar today, Anna Hazare also reprimanded the Mahavikas Aghadi government. He said that the government had given a written assurance. Seven meetings were held under the Lokayukta Act. Anna Hazare said that even after two years, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is not ready to talk about this. He said that our committees have been formed in 35 districts of the state. Once again there is a need for mass movement in the state.
