Who are the candidates for the post of MCD Mayor?

The Aam Aadmi Party ended the 15-year rule of the BJP in the MCD by winning 134 wards. The BJP won 104 wards in the 250-member MCD house, while the Congress won nine. On the other hand, the candidates for the post of Mayor of Municipal Corporation of Delhi are Shelly Oberoi and Ashu Thakur from Aam Aadmi Party, while Rekha Gupta from BJP. Shelly Oberoi is AAP’s main contender. The candidates for the post of Deputy Mayor are Aale Mohammad Iqbal and Jalaj Kumar from AAP, while Kamal Bagdi from BJP.
