Enforcement Directorate attaches assets in Institution of Engineers India fraud case

New Delhi, Mar 16 (PTI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized a BMW car, gold coins and land worth Rs 2.30 crore in connection with the anti-money laundering probe in connection with the alleged fraud with the Institution of Engineers India (IEI). Other properties are attached. The ED gave this information on Wednesday. According to the website of IEI it is the largest body of engineers established in 1920. It is headquartered in Kolkata. Based on the FIR registered against Samrat Paul and others, a bank manager in November, 2020, in the alleged cheating case with IEI of Kolkata Police.
