Pakistan’s poor batting
In response to the target of 210 runs, the Pakistan team kept faltering from the beginning. After the fall of the wickets of both the openers on the total of 5 runs, the batsmen remained in the pavilion at regular intervals. Shan Masood (56) and Khushdil Shah (27) spent some time at the crease but it was insufficient. Pakistan’s team could only score 142 runs in the allotted overs for the loss of 8 wickets. In this way, England won the match by a huge margin and won the series. For England, Chris Woakes took three, David Willey two and other bowlers took one wicket each.
