Hit songs given in the 90s
Anuradha Paudwal has made her own identity in the field of singing by giving her voice in films like Aashiqui, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi, Sadak, Dil, Beta and Saajan. In his recent interview, when Paudwal was asked about this, he criticized the trend citing one of the remixed songs of Arijit Singh as an example. Singer Anuradha Paudwal’s comment on the remix of the song ‘Aaj Phir Tum Pe Pyaar Aaya Hai’ from the film ‘Dayavan’ caught fire. In ‘Hate Story’, the remix of this song has been introduced in the voice of Arijit Singh.
Anuradha Paudwal herself has given clarification on her statement on this whole issue. He has said that his comment was not against Arijit Singh but against the remix. In a statement released, he said, “I have always preferred original songs over remixes. Many people also believe in the same way. My statement about ‘Aaj Phir Tum Pe’ was also about remix songs and not on any singer. The remix should do justice to the original song. Many songs from the 90s have been recreated, but they have not been able to do any justice to the originals. We have also given tributes to the music composers, but they have been done decently.
Please tell that this is not the first time that someone is questioning the remake of old songs. Time and again, veteran singers and composers have expressed their dismay over the trend of remixing songs in the industry. Now the name of singer Anuradha Paudwal has also been included in this list who has rejected the remix culture saying that every time she listens to a remix song, she has to go back and listen to the original song to find relief.
