Happy Birthday Karan Johar: Karan Johar is celebrating his 51st birthday on 25 May. Recently, Karan is all set to make a comeback as a director with the feature film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Karan, the owner of Dharma Production, has given many superhit films to Bollywood. His films are also known for the best songs and music. Be it Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or My Name is Khan or ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ released a few years ago. Songs of Karan’s films are on people’s lips for years. Although Karan has also accepted that he enjoys making musical films.
Why does Karan avoid making films on important issues?
Karan Johar had said in an interview to Digital Spy in 2012, ‘I love music. I like to sing and dance. I love glamor and I don’t apologize for it. People ask me, when will you make a film on real issues? And I made My Name is Khan. I enjoy doing everything, but for me cinema is escapism and I feel that when the audience comes to watch my films, they need to go into that world.’

In the same interview, Karan had said, ‘I don’t want to show anything that doesn’t have that glitz and glamour, and I can’t lie about it. I don’t want to be serious at all. I want to be fun and fabulous.
Karan Johar is going to debut
Talking about Karan Johar’s work front, he is going to make a comeback as a director with the film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Ranbir Singh and Alia Bhatt will be seen playing lead roles in this film. At the same time, this film will be seen on the big screen from July 28.
