In the charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on August 17, Jacqueline Fernandes was also made an accused in the case related to Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Jacqueline was questioned several times by the ED in this matter. Nora Fatehi’s name is also linked to the case.
According to ED, Bollywood actresses Jacqueline Fernandes and Nora Fatehi are alleged to have taken expensive cars and many other valuable gifts from conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Although Jacqueline had said that she has been framed in this case. At the same time, Jacqueline had said that Nora had taken gifts from Sukesh. After this Nora Fatehi filed a defamation case against Jacqueline. Nora has accused Jacqueline that she has tried to ruin her career for her own benefit. Nora had also claimed that she does not know Sukesh Chandrasekhar. He had said that due to the media trial, his reputation has suffered a lot. Nora had held Jacqueline responsible for all this in her petition.
However, on behalf of Jacqueline, her lawyer Prashant denied all Nora’s allegations in a conversation with Hindustan Times. Rejected and said that Jacqueline never publicly said anything against Nora, in such a case, a case of defamation could not be made out.
