Money Laundering Case: Jacqueline Fernandes wants to go abroad, actress reached Delhi court for approval

Money Laundering Case: Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes is an accused in the 200 crore money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandra. Whereas the actress has to go abroad for some work. In such a situation, Jacqueline has reached Delhi’s Patiala House Court today. The actress has appealed to the court to allow her to go abroad.

Let us tell you that Jacqueline Fernandes’s name came into limelight after she was associated with conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Personal pictures of both also went viral on social media. After this, Sukesh Chandrasekhar was arrested and sent to jail in the case of extortion and money laundering. It is alleged that he has cheated many people including influential people. The names of many big celebs and wealthy people are included in this. In the charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on August 17, Jacqueline Fernandes was also made an accused in the case related to Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Jacqueline was questioned several times by the ED in this matter. Nora Fatehi’s name is also linked to the case. 

What are the allegations against Jacqueline Fernandes
According to ED, Bollywood actresses Jacqueline Fernandes and Nora Fatehi are alleged to have taken expensive cars and many other valuable gifts from conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Although Jacqueline had said that she has been framed in this case. At the same time, Jacqueline had said that Nora had taken gifts from Sukesh. After this  Nora Fatehi filed a defamation case against Jacqueline.  Nora has accused Jacqueline that she has tried to ruin her career for her own benefit. Nora had also claimed that she does not know Sukesh Chandrasekhar. He had said that due to the media trial, his reputation has suffered a lot. Nora had held Jacqueline responsible for all this in her petition. 

However, on behalf of Jacqueline, her lawyer Prashant denied all Nora’s allegations in a conversation with Hindustan Times. Rejected and said that Jacqueline never publicly said anything against Nora, in such a case, a case of defamation could not be made out.
