When my films didn’t even start…
Jugal Hansraj recently spoke to Times of India. During this, he told, ‘I could not deny that it was a very difficult time. It was very difficult for me to deal with it when my films were not doing well. Not only did I hear my criticisms, but I was also personally attacked many times. I was called many names, even called ‘unlucky’. Even the films in which he was supposed to act didn’t start and people got more chance to make things. When I used to go to the Muhurta of other films, people used to say, ‘Now the time has come when Jugal himself will go to the Muhurta of his own films. I was 18-19 years old then and my eyes used to fill with tears hearing these things. With time, I learned to deal with all these frustrating things.
people change
Jugal further told, ‘I used to sign films and the film was about to start that I used to get a call that the film is not being made now. When all I could say was ‘Thank you’. I used to remain numb, could not understand what to say? It becomes very difficult when you work hard and you have challenges. Especially when unnecessary comments are made on personal life. Working in the industry is very tough and sometimes people behave very badly. But this is the truth here and it has to be understood. Even people who are good in front of you, they change with the success and failure of the film. Please tell that there was a time when 30 to 40 films of Jugal were closed.
