Actually, the initial reviews about ‘Bahubali: The Beginning’ were not good. According to reports, the filmmaker told in an event, ‘Bahubali: The Beginning was the first Pan India film. It was released in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, across North India, America and UAE. There were positive talks about the film all over the world, but it was described as very bad in Telugu speaking states. People were saying that this film will prove to be the biggest disaster of the industry.

SS Rajamouli was worried about the money of his producer, who supported him for the last 3 years and showed him the way. He further says, ‘We had spent a lot of money in the film. That means our producer had invested a lot of money. I thought that if it really turned out to be a disaster as people were saying, then the person who reposed faith in me and traveled with me for the last 3 years, would find himself in a situation from which it would be difficult to emerge. I did not know what to do in such a situation.
