Forest Fires: The forest of Uttarakhand is burning with smoke these days. If we talk about this year, then 2785 hectares of forest area has been affected. Like every year, this year also there is a fire in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. The employees of the Forest Department are engaged in extinguishing these fires in the forests. There are 8 districts of Uttarakhand which have been affected the most by the fire. Pine forests are highest in these districts. The reason why pine leaves cause maximum fire is where pine forests are more.

In which 2785 hectares of forest area has been affected, in which 6 people have been injured and one has died. The deceased woman, a resident of Pithoragarh, who was injured, is an employee of the Forest Department. The woman who died belongs to the Munsiyari range of Pithoragarh Forest Division, till 31 March, the incidents of arson were less but suddenly the incidents increased in the first week of April.
