First split in Maha Vikas Aghadi government of Maharashtra, this party withdrew support

Mumbai: There has been a first split in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of Maharashtra. Farmers’ party Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana has severed ties with Mahavikas Aghadi. Party President Raju Shetty has decided to withdraw his support to the Maharashtra government. However, Raju Shetty’s withdrawal of support will not affect the stability of the Maharashtra government.

Shetty has taken this decision at a time when Maharashtra and the central government have come face to face due to ED’s action on Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray on Tuesday termed as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) the action of attachment of properties belonging to Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut as politics of vengeance.

ED attached these properties of Raut 
officials said on Tuesday that the ED has attached eight plots belonging to Raut and his family in Alibaug and Dadar in Mumbai under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Attached a flat in the suburb.

This action has been taken for political purpose’ 
Responding to the action of ED, Aditya Thackeray said after an event in Pune that Maharashtra All the allies of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government are firmly standing with each other. There is a coalition government of Shiv Sena, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party in Maharashtra.
