Good news for Delhi Capitals, Prithvi Shaw discharged from hospital

Prithvi Shaw Delhi Capitals IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals’ young and talented batsman Prithvi Shaw has been discharged from the hospital and has returned to the hotel after recovering from typhoid. The franchise gave this information on Sunday. The franchise did not say whether it would play the remaining two league matches with Australian legend David Warner in IPL 2022.

The DC’s statement on Sunday morning said, "Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw has been discharged from the hospital where he was being treated for typhoid. Shaw is back at the hotel, where he is under medical supervision."

Recently, Delhi Capitals assistant coach Shane Watson had indicated that the youngster is unlikely to feature in the remaining matches of the team.

Shaw missed DC’s last three league matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals after playing against Lucknow Super Giants on 1 May. An Instagram story by Shaw on May 8 revealed that the opener was hospitalized due to fever.
