Gorakhpur: 11 thousand children formed human chain for road safety, gave a very special message

Gorakhpur News: 15 thousand people including 11 thousand children from more than 50 schools formed a human chain under Road Safety Month in Gorakhpur. BJP MLC Dr. Dharmendra Singh, who arrived as the chief guest, administered the oath to everyone to follow the traffic rules. He said that it is the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh is moving towards creating a world record by forming a human chain.

Actually, road safety month is being celebrated in UP from 5th January to 4th February. In such a situation, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, UP is going to register its name in the Guinness Book of World Records by making the world’s largest human chain. Pledge was taken to follow traffic rules by forming a human chain in every district of UP. 

Traffic officials gave this message

SP Traffic of Gorakhpur Dr. MP Singh said that we all should follow the traffic rules. Do not drive on the road after consuming alcohol, use helmet and seat belt. By doing this we can protect ourselves, our family and the people walking on the road. Gorakhpur’s RTO Anita Singh said that in coordination with the traffic police, RTO and all departments, the district administration has made a human chain at Ramgarh Tal in Gorakhpur and administered the oath to follow the traffic rules. 

The children involved in the human chain said this

Akshita Srivastava and Jagriti Gupta, students of Central Academy of Gorakhpur, say that people should follow the traffic rules. Today we have taken a pledge that we will make our house, locality and surrounding people aware of traffic rules. Will tell people not to drive after drinking alcohol. Along with this, follow the traffic rules and make sure to use seat belt and helmet. Akhil Pathak and Anshuman Singh, students of Central Academy, told that today by making a human chain, they are making people aware under the road safety month. People die untimely due to not following the traffic rules while walking on the road.
