A few days back also a huge quantity of narcotics was seized from the Mundra port of Gujarat. During that time the Surat DRI Division Unit received information from an informer that a large quantity of banned e-cigarettes in containers were going to Mumbai from Mundra port.
Based on the information received from the informer, DRI officials stopped the container in Palsana area of Surat. On checking the container, a huge quantity of banned e-cigarettes was found in it. 85 thousand e-cigarettes were found from the container, whose market value was said to be 20 crores.
