Gujarat: 48 crore e-cigarettes recovered from two containers from China

At the same time, once again the team of DRI has seized e-cigarettes worth Rs 48 crore in a joint operation.

A few days back also a huge quantity of narcotics was seized from the Mundra port of Gujarat. During that time the Surat DRI Division Unit received information from an informer that a large quantity of banned e-cigarettes in containers were going to Mumbai from Mundra port. 

Based on the information received from the informer, DRI officials stopped the container in Palsana area of ​​Surat. On checking the container, a huge quantity of banned e-cigarettes was found in it. 85 thousand e-cigarettes were found from the container, whose market value was said to be 20 crores.
