On October 30 this year, 135 people died tragically due to the collapse of the bridge in Morbi. In this incident, the nexus between the government, the local administration and the traders was openly exposed. Somewhere the Morbi incident can affect the minds of the people of Gujarat.

Farmers are agitating in many parts of Gujarat. Actually, due to excessive rains in the state in the last two years, farmers’ crops have been damaged. The government has not given compensation to the farmers. Due to this, the farmers can also go against the government. 

Education and health facilities 
There is lack of school education in rural areas of Gujarat. Apart from this, there is a huge shortage of teachers in the schools. Also, there is a shortage of classes in the schools. The rural areas of the state are facing shortage of primary health centers and doctors. 

Bilkis Bano case convicts acquitted
The court acquitted the convicts in the Bilkis Bano gangrape and murder case, angering the minority community as well as a section of the majority Hindus. In such a situation, this issue can affect a section of Hindus along with Muslims. 

Bad Roads
Gujarat was earlier known for its good roads. But now the reality is different, the state’s roads are in bad condition which is a cause of trouble for the people. 

High Electricity Rates
Gujarat has one of the highest electricity rates in the country. Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have promised 300 units of free electricity per month to the people of the state. High electricity rates may affect the people of Gujarat.

Land Acquisition
In Gujarat, there is discontent among farmers and farmers whose lands are being acquired for many government projects. Farmers have opposed land acquisition for high-speed bullet train projects between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. He has also opposed land acquisition for the expressway project between Vadodara and Mumbai.
