The incident is of Hyderabad village under Parasrampur police station of Basti district. There is an allegation of death of a person due to heart attack due to fear of police. The family alleges that the police first ran and kicked at the door of the house, due to which the man died of fear. Angry villagers jammed the dead body by keeping it on the road. They started demanding action against the guilty policemen. After this, the SP made both the constables point out the line, only then the matter was pacified.
Jamil was going to the doctor’s place to take medicine
It should be known that 58-year-old Jamil was going to the Bengali doctor’s place to take medicine at 2 o’clock last night. It is alleged that two police constables Vivek Yadav and Vijay Prakash made them run away. On this, Jameel ran away and somehow reached his house and closed the door. After this, both the soldiers kicked at the door and asked to open it. Meanwhile, as soon as the women of the house took the name of the police, Jameel died of a heart attack.
Angry villagers blocked the road
Both constables Vivek Yadav and Vijay Prakash were posted at Sikandarpur outpost. Angry villagers blocked the road after Jameel’s death. The road was blocked for hours due to the action against the soldiers. A large number of police force including SDM, CO reached. Somehow tried to convince the villagers, but the villagers were not agreeing. The villagers said that both the soldiers used to extort money from the people. They misbehave with people, until action is taken against them and compensation is not given to the relatives of the deceased, the jam will not be removed. After this, the SP made both the constables present on the line and ordered an inquiry against them. He also assured compensation from the tehsil administration, then people removed the jam from the road.
The CO said, the soldiers were searching for the bike-riding boys
Regarding the matter, CO Haraiya Seshamani Upadhyay told that two boys riding a bike were going from Parshurampur towards Hyderabad village. Seeing them, two constables of the police station tried to stop them, but they did not stop and went inside the village. After this, the soldiers reached the village in search of him and knocked on the door of the house of a person named Jameel Qureshi. Asked about both the boys. After this, information was received in the morning that an elderly person Jameel Qureshi had died. Then the people demonstrated, taking cognizance of which both the constables have been brought to the line.
