Heat wave continues in UP, it will not rain for 10 days now, know where the highest mercury was recorded

UP Weather and Pollution Report Today 15 May: The heat wave continues in UP and old records are being broken. On Saturday, ‘Loo’ hit many parts of the state including Varanasi, Prayagraj, Banda and Kanpur. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday, not only in the state but in the entire country, Banda recorded the highest maximum temperature of 48.8 degrees Celsius, 6 above normal. According to the Meteorological Department, this was the hottest day of the last 30 years. The capital Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius.

Lucknow
Sunday maximum temperature of 43 and minimum temperature is expected to be 28 degree Celsius in Lucknow. The weather will be clear. The air quality index was recorded at 136 in the ‘moderate’ category.

Varanasi
Varanasi is expected to have a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius. Heat wave is expected to move. The air quality index is 71 in the ‘satisfactory’ category.

Prayagraj
The maximum temperature in Prayagraj is 45 and the minimum temperature is expected to be 29 degree Celsius. Here too the heat will prevail. The air quality index is recorded at 127 in the ‘moderate’ category.

Kanpur
The maximum temperature in Kanpur is expected to be 44 and the minimum temperature is 29 degree Celsius. There is a possibility of heat stroke. The air quality index is 131 in the ‘moderate’ category.

Gorakhpur
The maximum temperature in Gorakhpur is expected to be 39 and the minimum temperature is 27 degree Celsius. The weather will be clear. The air quality index is recorded at 40 in the ‘good’ category.

Ayodhya
The maximum temperature in Ayodhya is expected to be 44.6 and the minimum temperature is 33.5 degree Celsius. The sky will be clear and there will be strong sunlight. The air quality index is recorded at 40 and is in the ‘good’ category.

Meerut
Meerut has a maximum temperature of 41 and a minimum temperature of 27 degree Celsius. The weather is expected to be clear. The air quality index was recorded at 225 in the ‘poor’ category.

Agra
The maximum temperature in Agra is expected to be 45 and the minimum temperature is 29 degree Celsius. Heat wave likely. The air quality index was recorded at 120 in the ‘moderate’ category.
