Heavy devastation in Nepal due to rain-floods and landslides, 17 killed, many missing

Nepal Landslides: At least 17 people were killed in a landslide caused by heavy rain in the western part of Nepal in the last 24 hours. An official gave this information on Saturday. Landslides have occurred in different parts of Achham District of Far West Province. The province is badly affected by floods due to heavy rainfall in the last few days. Acting Chief District Magistrate Dipesh Rizal has confirmed that at least 17 people have died in the landslide in the district. It is about 450 km west of district capital Kathmandu.
