How to run WhatsApp on computer without mobile, here is the whole process

This feature allows users to use their WhatsApp account on multiple devices simultaneously to send and receive messages on the cross-messaging platform, but one must note that if the phone remains inactive for two weeks, then Linked devices will be disconnected. 

WhatsApp also provided details on unsupported features, including clearing or deleting chat on linked device if your primary device is an iPhone, older version of WhatsApp, using tablet, live location on linked device Viewing, creating and viewing broadcast lists from linked devices, and ending messages with linked previews from WhatsApp Web.

How to use multi-device support feature

Android

  • Open WhatsApp on your smartphone.
  • Tap on the three dots in the right site above the app and select Linked devices option. 
  • Biometric verification of your phone Unlock with or pin whatever you have set.
  • Open web.whatsapp.com or WhatsApp desktop app on your PC or Laptop.
  • QR via your smartphone Scan the code.

iOS

  • Open WhatsApp account on your iPhone.
  • Go to Settings and select Linked devices option. 
  • After that follow the steps mentioned above (for Android) Follow.

Once linked, WhatsApp can be accessed on different devices to send and receive texts simultaneously. Note, this feature allows the app to be used on up to four devices.
