How to become an IFS officer
The exam is conducted by UPSC to become an IFS officer. Civil Services Exam is to be given by UPSC. The exam is conducted every year. Only students who pass it can get IAS, IPS and IFS level jobs. You can be selected in any service only on the basis of marks obtained in the examination and your preference.
What should be the qualification
To become an IFS officer, it is necessary to do graduation after passing 12th from any stream. If you are in the last year of degree course then you can give pre-exam for IFS officer. Candidate’s age should be between 21 years to 30 years to appear for IFS officer exam.

IFS Officers initially get salary from 60 thousand to 2.5 lakh rupees. The salary of IFS officers is decided according to the category and rank. Officers posted abroad have higher salaries.
