Pakistan News: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif has claimed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan sold the gold medal he received from India. This medal was received by Imran Khan when he used to be a part of the Pakistan cricket team. He got the gold medal in India for his best performance. The Defense Minister told that he was told in a program that the PTI chairman had sold the gold medal he had received from India.

It is worth mentioning that Khan was asked by the Election Commission of Pakistan in the Toshakhana issue. "false statement and misdeclaration" was disqualified for doing so. On 8 September, according to media reports, the ousted prime minister admitted in a written reply that he had sold at least four gifts he had received during his tenure as prime minister.

Meanwhile, while addressing a session of the National Assembly, the Defense Minister took a jibe at Khan and said that the former prime minister has gone mad for power. He said Khan should not target those institutions which had unconditionally supported him during the last four years. Asif said that the PTI chairman could not do anything despite the help given by the institutions supporting him.
