Indian men’s hockey team reached the semi-finals by defeating Wales 4-1, Harmanpreet again scored a hat-trick

India vs Wales Hockey: In the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, the Indian men’s hockey team defeated Wales 4-1 in their last group match. With this win, the Indian team reached the semi-finals. The Indian team has entered the semi-finals of the Commonwealth Games for the fifth time. Earlier, Team India had reached the semi-finals of the 1998, 2010, 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games. At the same time, in 2010 and 2014, the Indian team also reached the finals.  

In the first quarter, neither India nor Wales could score a goal. In the eighth minute, Lalit Upadhyay made a forceful shot, but it was stopped by the Wales goalkeeper. Wells then got a penalty corner, but could not convert it into a point. 

Commonwealth Games. The Indian hockey team has now taken a 3-0 lead over Wales. Team India showed a great game from the very beginning in this match.
