IPL 2022: 5 former players who became net bowlers this season, a Purple Cap winner also included in the list

IPL 2022 net bowlers: 65 matches have been played so far in IPL 2022. While Gujarat Titans has qualified for the playoffs, the battle between 7 teams is still going on for the remaining 3 places. Mohit made his IPL debut in 2013 playing for Chennai. He performed brilliantly in the 2013 season, taking 20 wickets in 15 matches. Mohit Sharma was a part of the Indian team during the 2014 T20 World Cup and the 2015 ICC World Cup. Mohit has played 26 ODIs and 8 T20 Internationals for the Indian team. During this, he took 31 wickets in ODIs and 6 wickets in T20s. This right-arm medium fast bowler played 86 matches in the IPL and took 92 wickets in his name. He was also the Purple Cap winner in 2014 with the most wickets in the league (16 matches 23 wickets).

Barinder Saran
fast bowler Barinder Saran has played in IPL for Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians. He was last seen playing for Mumbai Indians in the year 2019. Saran has played 24 matches in his IPL career and has taken 18 wickets at an economy of 9.4. He is the net bowler for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022.

Lukman Meriwala
Baroda fast bowler Lukman Meriwala was bought by Delhi Capitals at a base price of 20 lakhs. Although he could not perform anything special. He got a chance to play only one match for Delhi. In this match, Lukman took 1 wicket by spending runs at an economy of 10.67. He is the net bowler for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022.

Kulwant Khejroliya
Khejroliya has been a part of big teams like Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians in IPL. This left-arm fast bowler has played only 5 matches in the IPL. During this he has taken 3 wickets at an economy of 9.66. He is RCB’s net bowler in IPL 2022.

Yara Prithviraj
In IPL 2019, this left-arm fast bowler was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for a base price of Rs 20 lakh. In 2019, Yara got a chance to play only 2 matches. During this, he took only 1 wicket in his name at an economy of 11.57. He is the net bowler for Mumbai Indians in the current season.
